Sailsy and Twilio
The phone is still how B2B deals get unstuck, and it is still the least recorded thing in most CRMs: the call happens, the notes do not.
In Sailsy, calls and messages happen on the contact record, and the dialer stays open when the call ends so the wrap-up note gets written while it is still fresh. Calling is on the Sales Manager plan.

| Feature | Sailsy | Twilio on its own |
|---|---|---|
| Calling | Dial from the contact, in the browser, with the record open in front of you | An API and a console — you build the app |
| After the call | The dialer stays open for the wrap-up note, which lands on the contact's timeline | Whatever your own integration logs |
| SMS and WhatsApp | Sent from the contact and threaded on the timeline | Programmable messaging, for a developer |
| Numbers | Bring your own Twilio account and verified caller ID, or use a number provisioned through Sailsy | Your Twilio numbers |
| Plan | Sales Manager | A Twilio account |
Do I need my own Twilio account?
Not necessarily. Calling and messaging work on a number provisioned through Sailsy, and you can also connect your own Twilio account if you want your existing numbers, your own caller ID and your own carrier billing.
Is the call logged automatically?
The call is logged on the contact, and the dialer deliberately stays open afterwards so you can add the wrap-up note before moving on — which is the step everyone skips when the CRM is a separate tab.
Can I use my existing business number?
Yes, by connecting your own Twilio account. Caller ID is verified on that account before Sailsy will place calls with the number, which is Twilio's requirement rather than ours.
Does WhatsApp need anything extra?
WhatsApp follows Twilio's own requirements for an approved sender. Once that exists, Sailsy sends and threads those messages on the contact the same way it does SMS.
The verdict
If calls are how you sell, this closes the gap between the call and the record of it — the gap that turns pipeline reviews into guesswork.
Twilio is the carrier underneath. Sailsy is the part that knows who you are calling and why, and makes sure what was said survives the call.
